1、Introduction

basic components

The coin cell battery holder base is made of high quality native liquid crystal polymer plastic, which is thin and strong. It is also capable of withstanding the high temperatures of the SMT soldering process. The battery holder is rated for a temperature range of -40°C to 280°C. LCP mounts also have excellent chemical resistance and can withstand adverse environmental conditions.

The base features dual pressure contacts made of nickel plated phosphor bronze with a flash gold finish for good electrical conductivity. This also provides additional corrosion protection to the nickel-plated stainless steel electrodes contacting the coin cell. Dual pressure contacts not only provide extremely low resistance, but also provide a tight fit to help prevent the coin cell from shifting due to shock, vibration or mishandling
